World Read Aloud Day with Nal'ibali

Way With Words was proud to add our voices to World Read Aloud Day on February 4th 2026. This was a global celebration of the joy of stories, the power of reading aloud, and the connections we build through shared words.

Reading aloud brings stories to life, sparks imagination, and reminds us that books are meant to be shared. We invited our Way With Words community and beyond to join us as we read, listened, and celebrated the magic of storytelling together.

While Nal’ibali made their story “A New Friend” available on their platform, we are reminded that reading aloud is not limited to one story and one voice. Though it is an international day, Nal’ibali extended the initiative to run throughout the month of February.

Of course, reading aloud is not solely dedicated to a particular day or month. So we encourage you to continue to lend your voice and be a part of an initiative that celebrates literacy, learning, and the love of reading.
